Freihand-Panos

Dear Corrourfriends,

Back from Scotland we could not do anything with the show made by Klaus in our WP3.04. We had to wait until 3.05 would become available.Since having 3.10 I tried to run the show. That was hardly possible because I missed many of the pictures. They were not copied to my laptop in Corrour from the available backup.Luckily I got a number of them from Willy when we met some days ago. But the show still can't find 7 items as displayed in the appendix. Can anybody help to get the missing ones.
Apart from the black spots in the show, it runs quite nice on my Wings machine with two LCD monitors, but it was made for two beamers of course. So I made a copy of it and tried to adapt it for 1 screen. That was quite a job while all the keyframes have top be reprogrammed. Does that make sense? No, because much implemented dynamics are going to fail. Perhaps I must think about buying a second SX21 to be able to reach such a performance. Finally all we can do with the show is present it to friends on the two monitors at home. But that still opens a good possibity to analyze all the features implemented by Klaus, together just part of the 'Schulungsprogramm'. Klaus thank you again.

Time on the low step-in pricing of Lightroom is running out! I still see some copies here and there.
Lightroom 1.1. is coming, with better sharpening and filemobility across PC's and Laptops. Interesting. Read further here:

He who laughs last.....laughs best!

Discovered a new feature in Lightroom! Some of my India pictures , made in March, I added coordinates to. These were recorded with the little Sony GPS on the red bag: not everybody was impressed :-)

But after reading them into the jpg with the Sony software that came with the GPS, they are recorded in the EXIF data of the picture, AND Lightroom reads them! See in the blue oval (Click on the picture to get a bigger view.

When in Lightroom you click on the arrow you get this page:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=27.16919500,78.04280500&spn=0.001,0.001&t=k&hl=en

See the Taj Mahal far in the back of the picture and find it on the Google map: The coordinates exactly show the terrace we were having a beer!

I discovered this works also very well with Garmin gpx files and Robogeo.

Ciao!
